Foreign Substance and Then Some

when you are told that you will have the option of wrestling in a "foreign substance"... what does your mind go to? mine, well, will forever more think on OATMEAL!

so this next week is going to majorly suck but that's okay because i won't be alone. i really like all the people i work with and that is a major plus in my book. at least when the day is over i don't want to kill anyone for any particular reason. i work for a theatre company. we are doing 4 shows this summer. 3 of the shows are open but opening the last may be the hardest to do because we will still be running the other shows in the evenings. so it strike one set and load in another for morning rehearsals then strike that set and load in another for the evening show. rinse and repeat (or if nothing else repeat and repeat). me and my fellow show runners will be called in at 8am every morning and get to go home sometime after midnight maybe much later pending problems. but that's what they are paying us for and that's what we interviewed to do. so it's head down and plow through.

all in all life is good for me. i'm getting paid for what i love doing. i'm getting ready to go back to school for a higher degree in what i love doing. and i'm rather successful (knock on wood) at what i love doing. the "Life Is Good" shirt says it best with "Do what you like; Like what you do". you can't ask for much more in life than to have your dream. i feel like i'm on the right path to it. :)

i think my ultimate life long dream is to be happy with what i do, feel loved by the people i'm with, and be secure in my surroundings... and honestly i pretty much have all of those things. anything else i want is just fluffing.
